About Dragon Mastery Games

We started with a simple goal: make games. Eight years later, we're still building, still learning.

The Story

Dragon Mastery Games started in 2018 with a simple goal: make games. What we learned quickly is that game development is hard, time-consuming, and requires patience we didn't initially have.

Seven years later, we're still here. Still building. Still learning.

Where We Are

We haven't shipped a commercial game yet, and that's okay. We've learned more from our experiments, prototypes, and failures than we would have from rushing to ship something mediocre.

What We've Learned

  • Game development takes longer than you think
  • Prototypes are valuable even if they never become full games
  • The process is as important as the product
  • Building in public creates accountability
  • Small, consistent progress beats sporadic bursts

What We're Building

We're focused on exploring different types of games and interactive experiences. Our approach is to prototype rapidly, learn from each experiment, and slowly work toward projects worthy of release.

Philosophy

  • Ship when it's ready - Not when it's "good enough"
  • Learn publicly - Fail fast, iterate constantly
  • Build what interests us - Not what's trending
  • Value the journey - Not just the destination

Other Work

When we're not working on games, we build high-performance web applications through Dragon Mastery Dev and develop Pages Studio, a Workers-native CMS.
